I have recently been receiving many different emails from internet marketers and mlm’ers that have their different opinions about how people should do their business and how they should not, and if they do it only a certain way then they are fools. WHAT A CROCK!!!

SO this is what some of the internet marteters are saying:

1. building a list of Friends and family…

2. Passing business cards, brochures, audios and dvd’s

3. the 3 way call

4. meetings

5. product selling itself

6.home parties

7. buying leads

The funny thing is, these all work. Yes it has been done forever. but the relationship building and the comforts of doing things in the “Traditional” mlm way is how some people want to build their business.  I know more people who have made this system work then any other system out there. Like Everything it take persistence, being consistent and the numbers to make it work.

Now on the other side there are mlmers saying this:

1.  do not waste your time with the facebook, myspace, web 2.0 stuff, do it my way. there is no other way, you are not being coachable….

2. the internet marketing is saturated.

3. there is no relationship in internet marketing…blah blah blah

Again what a CROCK.  these are more methods that if you build relationships with these people online and do not constantly spam them with crap. then these potential clients and talk to them, show interest and if they ask you show them your opportunity.  this will also make you money.

I think the bottom line is try everything and get out of your comfort zone, the more things that you learn so that you can show your plan, the better off you will be in your business.  If it has been done before and failed, look at it, tweek it, find the people who made it work and find out how they did it. take risk, the more ways that you can get people to your information the more money you are going to make. and Hey, because you focused on the relationships instead of the sales, you might also make some Good friends out of it, plus repeat customers.

Hey Mom’s out there, Happy mothers day.

My Mom, marilyn was so influencial in my life. She was a registered nurse for 33 years, she was born in montreal canada, and lived in victoria, the worchester MA.  While she was here in victoria, she was always involved in my activeties and sports, as prestident of the local little league baseball she was very involved in helping kids be involved in sports whose families who could not afford much, she helped raise funds for a brand new local ball field.  Mom was one of the few parents who was at every game I ever played, she had 3 boys so balancing 3 different fields was always a challenge(helped that she made the schedules :) As a registered nurse who specialized in labor delivery, there are many times that we would go out and we would run into families who she helped them in the child birth of the children. When mom moved to worchester MA, she married the man of her dreams John, who with him I never saw her so happy.  She always thought of others before herself and proved it again when she found Nitsa Nakos of the Synergy marketing group, mom called me while I was off work and jsut released from the hospital, told me about something that could help me get out of my 4 jobs and that we should do the business together. Now you all know my story,in 4 months I fired 4 bosses. Here is a side that you do not know of our storie, I was being teamed up with mom in this business for 2 years, I was able to see my mom turn into a leader, as she became more and more fed up with the hospital politics, she turned her focus to help people get out of the jobs that they did not like and develop a 6 figure income.  Mom reached her main goals before she passed away, she was able to quit her job of 33 years, but her dream trailer so she could travel across north america, and help me become a success in free enterprise.

The think I most respect my mom for is that she lived her live and did not let it pass her by, like 95% of the population does. mom was part of the 5%:)  She always cared for people and wanted to help them!

SO for my mom, happy mothers day, and I miss and love you!!!

Malkin sure had a great game today as the penquins took a 1-0 series lead.  Mike richards had a good game for the flyers, almost killed malkin with a big hit, but that could have been what turned malkin into a machine.  malkin had 2 goals and crosby had 1 tonight.   the flyers are in tough due to missing Timonen for the series with health issues.

should be a long series, i do not think that the flyer will go down easy.

Most people when they are looking for a MLM or direct sales company go to the internet to do their homework before joining a business. So you go in and punch in the business into google or yahoo and boom, there are some mlm comparisons, SO and SO mlm is a scam, Why my mlm is better then your mlm…ect ect ect…This is horibble for the industry. if you are so confident in your mlm or direct sales business that YOU made the decision to join, then you should be like the soft drink Coke. I like the coke branding because you will never hear them mention the comptetition. But if you see the competition(PEPSI) you will alway hear them doing the taste test and they are better then coke.  This is what I see alot of ppl doing in this industry, they are using Scam warning, you tube videos, bash a company, their competition, and OH WOW LOOK AT END, “”"COME JOIN BUSINESS”"”"

Just a little bit of a rant on what drives me up the wall in an industry that love, If you are going to market a business that you think is the best, do not bash your competition, stand by your decision, have some pride in what you decided to do, if it is not the best, then join the best.  Show your prospect why you decided on the business that they are looking at.  The thing is, most people will see right through it and see it as another black eye against an industry that is in a good spot across the world to help alot of people.

Oh and if you are looking at a business PLEASE, do your research, get educated, and when u see those reports on the internet look at the end and see what they are pitchin…

Marketing Your MLM Business!!!How do you do it?

Being that I have been in MLM and Direct sales for 8 years, I have always tried to do what the “Big GUns” are doing and have told me.  I have done it all, made the list of 20 people(some have has me do 500, wow what a stretch) you know and lets call them, I have done fliers, I have paid people to hand out fliers, bought leads, “Gold market prospecting(Cold market)”, 3 foot rule, fog a mirror rule, drop cards, news paper adds, internet marketing…ect, ect, ect. I have done everything. and they have all brought in money. One of the things that I was told by an old mentor of mine in and old business I was in, was to have as many irons in the fire.  He was making alot of money each month, but he said the reason he did as many things as he could was so if something dried up, say for example leads got cold, or all your friends went MIA, then you could still build your business, he believed that everything went in cycles, he also believed that it was best to build all over north america and not just in your back yard. that was his most duplicatible system. SO I have modelled myself after him and any othere successfull MLM leader that I have found, they give me knowledge, and I take what works for me and toss the rest, but what it does too is helps me work with my team to find something that will work for them. Part of the passing the knowledge on. I appreciated these mentors teaching me, and I was not in their downline, So by me mentoring others it helps everyone…

SO if you think something might be fum to do to market your business, then try it out, tweek it a little and then pass it onto your people. do not let them tell you how to market your business, because after all it is your business.   I have done this in my Platinum One destinations business and the others in the past, it has allowed me to be full time for the last 2 years and not have to work a job, were i would have to do it their way.. :)

Cheers

I feel there is another ramp up coming in MLM

I might very well be way off based here guys, but from what I have been seeing in the last few months has me really excited. When I first got into MLM, there was a wave coming through the mlm industry.  I was with a telecom company and it was huge, alot of people made alot of money and more important they helped people reach their dreams.  Now, especially in my area in western canada, and all over north america, I have seen some things happening and it seems to be opening minds up that the job world is not enough.   With the american economy starting a recession, Canada is most likely not far behind (what big brother does, usually little brother follows) We are seeing factories closing, tons of lay offs across north america, low paying jobs seem to be in abundance in some areas, but not in the high areas.  With so many baby boomers supposedly retiring in the next few years, oh oh, they realized they do not have enough to retire on so they stay working. SO now were do all the younger trades people go.  low paying jobs, living on credit cards, getting into debt…the Mortgage and real estate industry has crashed, people in that industry are jumping ship left and right, banks are not as generous about lending money as they were a few years back. Oh and lets not bring up gas prices, they are just getting higher and higher it seems every day..

SO what is the solution to all of this, more and more people everytday are out there looking in cyber space for something to fix the challenges they are facing, some of them are looking for a last ditch effort to not have their phone shut off and home forclosed, some are just looking around and some are very very serious about having control in their life.  In my area in victoria canada, I am seeing people signing up in home based business’ all over the place, and they are going to the travel industry.  WHy is that, well everyone travels, If I ever learned something in the collection industry it was that people who are in debt with travel and feel good about it rather then pay their debt, people with money and no debt like to travel and enjoy it. Travel makes people feel good, it creates memories and takes people away for their problems for the 2 weeks they are away.  So with the huge industry that travel is, the amount of money out there, people want their cut, they want to save money when they do it and enjoy themselves more spending that saved money on their holiday…And they want their cut. thay is why people are joining travel home based business’ at rapid pace. Because travel solves problems

In Time!

Here is the lyrics of a song by Mark Collie, this song was in the movie the Punisher. These lyrics sound a lot like the rat race of the Job world and people in debt..

“In Time” – Mark Collie

I can hear what you’re thinking,
All your doubts and fears,
And if you look in my eyes, in time you’ll find,
The reason I’m here.

And in time all things shall pass away,
In time, you may come back someday.
To live once more, or die once more,
But in time, your time will be no more.

You know your days are numbered,
Count them one by one,
Like notches in the handle of an outlaw’s gun.
You can outrun the devil, if you try,
But you’ll never outrun the hands of time.

In time there surely, come a day
In time all things shall pass away,
In time you may come back some say.
To live once more, or die once more,
But in time, your time will be no more.

I can hear what you’re thinking.

So lets take a look at this song and show you how close it is to the job life.

I can hear what you’re thinking,
All your doubts and fears,

Wow, what a strong line, how many time have you just dreaded going back to work and working just enough for the employer not to fire you and them paying you just enough so that you do not quit. Then when you are at home, you are worried,  How am I going to pay the mortgage, put food on the table, put the kids through college ect…Worry and stress.

And if you look in my eyes, in time you’ll find,
The reason I’m here
.

There are people out there that are not in the Rat Race, they are looking to help people and pass on their knowledge, some people are looking for a way to get out of the race and the others in time will figure it out.   With the recession going across north America these days people are looking outside of the job world for an answer. Praying to their god for an answer…If you look that prayer will be answered.

And in time all things shall pass away,
In time, you may come back someday.
To live once more, or die once more,
But in time, your time will be no more

95% of the population will just fade away, not make an effort to change, but some of you will be reborn, you will find something out there that will save you from the situation you are currently in.  Better do it quick though cause like everyone time is running out.

You know your days are numbered,
Count them one by one,
Like notches in the handle of an outlaw’s gun.
You can outrun the devil, if you try,
But you’ll never outrun the hands of time.

For people living the 40 hours a week, 40 years plan, time is ticking, and for some that 40 years will never happen, with the economy the way it is most people might be lucky to get to 5 years before the axe falls on the job, so take control now of your life and be like the 5% that live life on their own terms.

In time there surely, come a day
In time all things shall pass away,
In time you may come back some say.
To live once more, or die once more,
But in time, your time will be no more.

I can hear what you’re thinking.

We all have a lifespan, a work span, so to enjoy your life let the old you die away and start with a new beginning in free enterprise. Take control of your life, be who you always knew you could be.   If you look into our eyes you will see that we are here to help people live to their full potential..

It all happened 26 months ago. The last time I felt what it is like to do something I could not stand…You know when sunday night comes around and you dread monday morning wake up call and off to work.   For some people it might be getting up at 4 am for a 2 hour commute, or just a 5 minute walk down the road. But for most, it is the START OF THE WORK WEEK!

SO back in those days Mondays for me meant not driving far, but driving to a place that did not treat their employees well, very strict rules and alot of yelling, even at the best people in the office, so called motivation speeches :) then after our motivation speech and then everyone mumbling under their breath that they should walk out, we got down to our reretative work week and looking so forward to HUMP DAY :) and the FRIDAY, we might even get to wear jean that day:)  YAHOO WEEKEND WAS HERE!!!! and then repeat..OF course because of the mindnumbing work and not having to think and grow at those jobs, when we got home from a days end, the tv or video games go on, and then to bed.

These Days, after working for myself for 2 years full time, I love Mondays.  WHy do I love mondays, because there is opportunity for growth, to help someone, make some money(not the same thing every 2 weeks like a job), and the way things are always different in direct sales and network marketing.  If you are in the right mlm company then the friendship, mentorship, support, and competition within makes it fun. Also the flexibility that being self employed is awsome, if I do not want to work today and want to go golfing then i do it, if i want to work a late night or an early morning then i do it :) get the drift.  it is Freedom!!!! It is Opportunity!!!!IT is Happiness!!!

J - Just

O-Over

B-Broke

hehe :) Just ask anyone who is in free enterprise and does it full time what their life looks like compared to when they had 1 or more jobs(Journey of the broke), also ask what monday is to them.  They will have different answers, but the same meaning…

I have always wondered what being in direct sales and MLM did for my confidence and self esteem, that is until I spoke to my dad during my birthday dinner.  One of the things he said was before I got involved with a company in mlm that I was with for 5 years, I was a very shy, did not go outside of my comfort zone, went to work and did nto really network much, and I let people make fun of me:P It was mlm that turned me into the person he is proud off.  Then it happened, I was brought to a local meeting, saw the circles and residual income and I got excited. So I joined that company and like the previous one I had joined I found that all my friends were the same friends with the person who recruited me.  So I had to go outside of my comfort zone a WHOLE LOT. I had to learn how to talk to people, network and make friends outside of my circle and also outside of my finacial circle.  So that is what I started doing, I started slowly, just by opening conversation with people at stores, cashiers, employees and getting to know them a bit, learning how to ask questions and listen for their wants and goals. It was fun, but boy it took alot to get the confidence to open my mouth. then after listening to them and getting to know these people.  now what, how do you take interest in someone then show them your business, it is about the relationship building, so I needed to learn that, and as I did it more and more, my confidence started to build. then the question would always come, “What do you do” then i could give my elevator pitch and if they were interested then they would join my business.

As the time went on I needed to do more things to get out of the comfort zone, like speaking to more people at one time. I learned and became confident in doing that when I became a Padi Scuba DIving instructor.  The system and support through padi helped me build that part of the confidence up so I was ale to get up infront of people and not get the nervous shakes, studder, or have a nervous voice.  I found that through network marketing and going out of my comfort zone I was able to become the person I am today, am I were I want to be, not yet, but with the personal development that the SMG and leadership promotes, and challenging myself I am well on my way to being there.

It was Network marketing that got me out of my comfort zone to talk to my fiance when I first met her.  It was the confidence in this industry that gave my mom the courage to ask me to join her in a travel home based business with the Synergy Marketing group, because she wanted my help to groom her, due to my experience int he industry, and we flurished, and still do.

Nettrav Rocks

I love Platinum One Destinations flagship and New product NetTrav.  Were else can you start a business for $148 and for every person you reffer to the business you recieve $50.  With that you recieve a membership to get wholesale travel plus commisions from travel sales made on your personal travel site, like expedia, orbitz and travelocity.

Why does this option make so much sence for the person looking for a home based business.  The product is great, the commisions are great (plus the higher commisions in the Silver, gold and platinum memberships, $750-7500) This is the thing I liked the most when I got started and that is the supports and system that we have in place.   in the 2 years since I have been involved with the synergy Marketing Group(exclusive marketing on P1D and Nettrav) I have made more then enough money to work this business and no jobs. Nitsa, Bob, and Priska have made everything work great and combined with debra and lloyd this company will hit 1 billion in the next 5 years. that is what excites me about this opportunity.

So here is to success
